The only source I can find for this marriage and the child born and died 1876 is Find-A-Grave, and as such it is highly suspect. Particularly since the 1880 census has John Washington married to Jane with children born from 1869-1879, before and after the infant by Martha in 1876. Also, the 1880 census has Cora Lee Sauls born 1876, presumably from Jane, as they are reported married in 1871.
