  (Research):Familysearch shows an Angeline Cotton married William Jasper Canon Wade on 16 Dec 1875 in Clay County.  This Angaline would have been 32, a bit late to be her first marriage:  https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FQ3F-F3F I cannot find a marriage record for Angeline Cotton married a Martin, but an Angeline Martin and family, apparently widowed, is living in the household of Peter W. Cotton and Martha Cardon on the 1870 census.  This Angeline is the right age to be the Angeline that is the daughter of Peter Cotton b. 1777 on the 1850 census. There is a possibility that Angeline Cotton Martin, widow, used her maiden name for her 2nd marraige, but I don't think that's likely.  Especially since she had several children from her first marriage.
