Shaw has this Nimrod and family on the 1880 census in Hokes Bluff, but I have not been able to find it after a diligent search. I have searched FamilySearch every way that occurs to me, as well as HeritageQuest. I have manually eyeballed each page of the 1880 census for Hokes Bluff, as well as Jacksonville, and Allens, and other towns, with no luck.
There is an N. R. Argo, 35, b. Georgia on the 1880 census in Hokes Bluff (ED 67, Page 330B), but the family does not remotely resemble that of this Nimrod, and both HeritageQuest and FamilySearch have indexed it as "U. R. Aryo".
Additionally, there is another Nimrod Argo, AFN: LRQD-42Q, born 1835 Georgia, Married 10 Jun 1855 in Shelby, Alabama to Sarah Elizabeth Foster.
